A Warning Shot For Putin

Russia's parliamentary election last Sunday saw Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's party, United Russia, receive slightly less than 50 percent of the popular vote. In most countries, this would be viewed as a stunning victory. Instead, it is being interpreted by the Russian and Western press as a rebuke by a restive Russian public to Putin and his policies.

HADITHI HADITHI!!

HADITHI NJOO UTAM KOLEA.
nae  mezani.   Mwisho  wa ile  sherehe  mfalme  akamuuliza  jamaa
mbele  ya hadhira.
Mfalme"   kijana  naomba  uombe  kitu  kimoja  tu.  lakini  kila
utakachoomba  kimoja  ndugu  yako   nitampa  viwili  zaidi  yako"
jamaaa  akafikilia  sana  na  akajibu
jammaa"  mheshimiwa  mfalme  naomba  nitobolewe  jicho  langu  la
kushoto" .  Mfalme  akaguna  na  akasema,
mfalme: "  du  kweli  wewe  una roho  mbaya  hivyo  naamrisha

THIS IS TOO BAD.

Wife trails, busts cheating ex-ZAF chief
FORMER Zambia Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Andrew Sakala has been caught by his wife at a girlfriend's house in Lusaka's Ngombe Compound.

Lt Gen Sakala, whose extra-marital affair was discovered on Thursday, faces possible arrest for allegedly threatening to shoot his wife Nesta Mambo, 46, after she discovered his infidelity.

Lt Gen Sakala who handed over the instruments of power to his successor three days ago and even thanked his wife for her support, had difficulties trying to stop a fight that ensued between his wife and his 26-year-old mistress Sandra Mukoma.

This happened in full view of neighbours and onlookers on Thursday night.

According to eyewitnesses, Lt Gen Sakala, who is in his 60s, tried to chase his wife from his girlfriend's house but his wife resisted, vowing not leave without him.

"When the wife came, she knocked on this girl's door but the commander recognised his wife's voice so they locked themselves in the house. This prompted the wife to break the window. At that point we woke up due to the noise, only to find the commander in a tussle with his wife," said a witness.

The witnesses said a fight erupted between Mrs Sakala and Sandra and in the process the girl allegedly cut Mrs Sakala's wrist with a broken bottle.

"The wife has been bleeding and it's very bad mwandi. This man is too old for this kind of behaviour. He is supposed to settle with his family in retirement but look at what he is doing to the wife… with a young girl who is the same age as his children. But now he is threatening to kill his own wife because of the girlfriend. He fired gunshots here while threatening to kill her," the witness said.

A check by The Post at around 20:30 hours found armed plain-clothed police officers in bullet-proof vests at house number 1255 4D flat 1 off Zambezi Road.

A few minutes later, Lt Gen Sakala who appeared disturbed was seen arriving at the same house from the police post where his wife had gone to lodge a complaint.

Upon arrival, the officers summoned him and his girlfriend back to Le Soile police post for questioning.

Lt Gen Sakala had difficulties resolving visible altercations between the two warring parties.

Seething with anger, the trio swore at each other for close to an hour while giving their statements to the police.

Lt Gen Sakala's girlfriend complained that her windows had been broken by her rival but Mrs Sakala asked her not to complain about a broken window because sleeping with her husband was much worse off and in any case her lover would pay since he has money to spend on her.

Lt General Sakala's wife pleaded that all she wanted was her husband back.

Turning to her husband, Mrs Sakala said: "You must be ashamed of yourself. You are very old, look at yourself. You started a long time ago. I have been seeing SMSs on your phone from her: ‘Honey, honey' …calling my husband. Tawakopwe mpaka ukafwe, ndekutipa, elo ulinamukufwa pantu ine, I am from the royal family, you will see. (You will never get married until you die. I am cursing you and you will die soon)," she said.

Mrs. Sakala vowed not to sit idle and see her husband's pension money being spent on a girlfriend.

"This girl cannot be enjoying our money now. We have come a long way with my husband, since we were children. I was not like this, I was not this old. He did not find me like this. We have been through a lot together with our children and I will not leave this bitch to eat my money," she said angrily as police officers tried to calm her down.

But Lt Gen Sakala told his wife that she was wasting her time and that he would not go with her to their matrimonial house in Chilanga's Longridge area.

"You are embarrassing yourself, just get out of here or I will kill you. What did you come here for, all the way from Chilanga?" asked Lt Gen Sakala as his wife responded; "Kill me, you are my husband. It's okay you can shoot me. If you want, shoot me now".

Mrs Sakala told her husband that she learnt about his whereabouts while she was at a salon in Northmead.

"Aha, so what where you doing in Northmead? Is that your home? Is that where you stay? I am not going anywhere with you. I don't want you in my car," said Lt Gen Sakala as his wife tried to open the door of the Toyota Prado registration number ABZ 5417 which he was driving.

At that point, Mrs Sakala threatened to disclose the former ZAF commander's corrupt activities to President Michael Sata.

"If you stay here I will disclose all the things you have done. I know where the DEC (Drug Enforcement Commission) is. I will tell the President what you did. I know a lot about all what you did," said Mrs. Sakala amid cheering from onlookers who were attracted by the noise at Le Soile police and gathered to witness the unfolding matrimonial acrimony.

The trio continued their altercations oblivious to the growing crowd of onlookers.

At about 22:10 hours, Lt Gen Sakala left the police station after escorting Sandra to her house.

And police sources later disclosed that Lt Gen Sakala lied to his wife that he was going to Ndola.

"From the explanations we have been given, it's like the former ZAF commandant told his wife that he was going to Ndola for a work meeting, but it's like his wife did not believe him because obviously he is retired and it did not make sense that he was going for a work related meeting so she organised some people to stalk sic him," disclosed the source.
The police sources said Lt Gen Sakala was trailed until he arrived at his girlfriend's house in N'gombe and they informed his wife who was also following behind in a different car.

"So after they started fighting we only heard gun-shots, about five of them. So we picked a private vehicle and went to check. When we arrived, we found the former commandant with a 9mm pistol in his hands and upon seeing us, he started picking the empty cartridges from the ground to destroy evidence that he fired rounds," the source said.

The sources said the wife claimed that Sandra injured her with a bottle.

"The girl also claims that Mrs. Sakala bit her on her left leg so we advised both of them to get medical reports and once the doctor signs on the reports, arrests will be effected. We are also investigating the issue of the former ZAF commandant threatening to kill his wife using a firearm. If we find him wanting, we will arrest him also," the source said.
